BASS PET RESORT & SPA RAISES OVER $1K FOR US WAR DOGS!


Kissimmee’s Museum of Military History Welcomes Luxurious Bass Pet Resort

& USWDA  for  Check Presentation, & War Dog Medal Ceremony


Kissimmee, FL— (Thursday,  July 28, 2016) – Bass Pet Resort just wrapped up its second annual Operation: War Dogs, fundraiser for non-profit organization U.S. War Dogs Association Chapter 2, the Florida chapter. The fundraiser began on Memorial Day and ended on July 4th, 2016. Bass Pet Resort raised a total of $1,250 for U.S. War Dogs Assn. CH. 2 through Operation: War Dogs.


Who: The Museum of Military History and Bass Pet Resort & Spa invites the public and the media.


What: Bass Pet Resort & Spa will make a check presentation through their dedicated efforts in raising funds for the USWDA. This will be followed by a War Dog Medal Ceremony giving Honor and Memory to Military War Dog MWD Brit USAF (EOD 2013) and K-9 Ajax, (LODD 1996), Osceola County Sheriff Office, along with certificates for their service in fighting for our freedoms and safety.


Where: The Museum of Military History on 5210 West Irlo Bronson Highway in Kissimmee, FL.


When: Thursday, July 28th at 3:00pm.  The War Dog Medal Ceremony begins at 3:30 PM following with the Check Presentation at 4:00 PM. The media is welcome. Best photo & reporter opportunities begin at 3:00 PM.


U.S. War Dogs Assn. CH. 2 is a non-profit organization and veterans group who advocates for and supports hero dogs and their handlers. They provide adoptions, veterinary benefits for retired dogs, toys, treats, doggles and booties for deployed dogs, safety vests, plaques, monuments, memorials and war dog medals.
